Meet Marta!
Strength: Technique & competitive swim background
Marta is a former competitive swimmer with a strong technical foundation. She works with swimmers of every age and level from first timers to club swimmers and is especially skilled at sharpening stroke mechanics for those ready to swim faster and more efficiently.
Her coaching style is structured and detail-focused.

Meet Matthew!
Strengths: Smooth Swimming & All-Stroke Performance
Matthew specializes in refining swimming technique and helping swimmers move more efficiently through the water. He works with swimmers of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners learning their first strokes to competitive swimmers looking to improve performance. With experience teaching all four competitive strokes and a strong focus on stroke mechanics, he helps each swimmer build efficient technique, confidence, and speed.
Drawing from his own swimming journey on the national team and years of coaching experience, Matthew’s coaching style is technical, encouraging, and performance-driven. Every lesson is tailored to the swimmer’s goals, whether that’s learning to swim, mastering a specific skill, or reaching the next competitive level.

Meet Ethan!
Strengths: Younger Children & Beginner-Friendly Instruction
Ethan is one of our newer instructors with a natural gift for working with younger children. He’s patient, encouraging, and great at building confidence for beginner swimmers, kids and adults just starting out alike.
He’s not currently taking on advanced or competitive swimmers, but is a wonderful fit for anyone new to the water.

Strength: Structured, step-by-step learning
Daniel is highly organized and excels at breaking skills into simple, manageable steps. His teaching style is clear, structured, and supportive—ideal for swimmers who benefit from guided, progressive learning.
He works well with all ages and helps swimmers build confidence through consistency and clarity.

Strength: Younger Children & Neurodiverse Learners
Thalia is one of our newer instructors with a real gift for working with younger children and neurodiverse learners. She’s patient, creative, and adapts every lesson to each swimmer’s comfort level.
She’s not currently taking on advanced or competitive swimmers, but is a great choice for young or first-time swimmers who benefit from extra patience.

Mina brings more experience to her lessons and works well with swimmers of all ages, from young children through adults. She’s especially popular with adult women looking for a comfortable, supportive learning environment.
She’s kind, attentive, and tailors each lesson to her swimmer’s pace and goals.

Meet Anastasia!
Strengths: Neurodiverse Learners, Fear of Water & Competitive Technique
Anastasia is a former competitive swimmer with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and years of coaching experience working with swimmers of all ages and abilities. She specializes in helping children and adults, including individuals on the neurodivergent spectrum and those overcoming fear of the water or past traumatic experiences.
With a patient, supportive, and individualized approach, Anastasia creates a safe environment where swimmers of every level can build confidence, develop strong technique, and achieve their goals, from learning to swim and becoming water-safe to refining competitive skills.
📍 Based in Downtown Vancouver, travels across Metro Vancouver
Credentials:
• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology
• Former competitive swimmer
Meet Diogo!
Strengths: Fear of Water, Advanced Technique
With 20+ years of experience and a kinesiology background, Diogo specializes in helping swimmers overcome fear and build true confidence in the water, especially adults and teens who feel anxious or stuck.
He also works with more technical swimmers looking to refine their stroke or train toward specific goals like triathlons, ocean swimming, or performance-based outcomes.
